Flitwick, pronounced /ˈflɪtɪk/ -ik, is a small town in Central Bedfordshire, England. The town is named after the nearby River Flit, which runs through Flitwick moor, a nature reserve and a Site of Special Scientific Interest. Flitwick moor claims to be the first place in the world to bottle tonic water. It also used to be the site of much peat extraction. It has 1 football team named Fitwick Eagles.
